If you played Breath of Fire 3, then one of the most frustrating and hardest things to do in the game is to cross the Desert of Death. With a name like that, you probably don’t want to cross it. Why the Desert of Death is Hard and Unforgiving
In the desert, the game removes normal landmarks. Instead, you must rely on celestial navigation. At night, the stars guide your direction, while during the day, the sun helps you maintain your course.
Each movement command advances the party one step across the desert grid. Your goal is to move consistently in the correct direction for several days without drifting too far off course.
You also need to manage food and water. Water decreases as you travel, and if it reaches zero, your party collapses and gets sent back. Always bring plenty of supplies before entering.
The Map and Navigation Tricks

Get to the Oasis Easily
This is the main objective where you have to go to the Oasis. This is where a lot of people get lost because the game gives you erroneous information. Just read what we’re saying, and you’ll end your torment right away. When you leave the Factory, simply turn to the right. You can see the two red stars, and you should be standing between them.
Just walk straight, and you’ll be at the Oasis in no time. That’s it, that’s the easiest way for you to get out of the Desert with minimal effort. Players rarely lose all their food and water with this simple trick. Your suffering in the previous years can be easily overcome with this.
What about the other locations
Now that you have a map (above), you can easily navigate through the Desert. Just head to the place where you want to go. If you want to get the SPEED BOOTS, just turn to the far right and start walking. If you want to go back to the Factory, just use up all of your water, and you’ll be taken back there with ease.
Go to the other directions for the other items or locations that you want to go to. Whatever happens, if you’re finally planning on going to the Oasis, just get yourself thrown back to the Factory by losing all of your water or food. It has never been made easier, and your headaches with this part are gone.
