Code Vein 2 has been out for a couple of months, but Code Vein (part 1) is still being enjoyed. Blood Codes are like the classes of the game. A lot of people are not aware that some of them are missable on the first playthrough. We’re here to give you a guide on the Blood Codes that are not given to you. There are Blood Codes that are given as you defeat story enemies or just by progressing the story. These Blood Codes listed below are obtained in tricky ways.
Blood Codes Obtained through Vestiges
These Blood Codes are obtained by getting Vestiges (parts/shards of the entire Blood Code). Once all Vestiges are found, the Blood Code can be obtained.
Prometheus
Vestiges are located in the RUINED CITY CENTER.
Hunter
Vestiges are located in the RUINED CITY CENTER, mostly in the PARKING GARAGE.
Atlas
Vestiges are located in the HOWLING PIT.
Hermes
Obtain all Vestiges by defeating the bosses in the DEPTHS MAPS.
Scout
Vestiges are obtained in the DEPTHS MAPS.
Artemis
Vestiges are located in the ASHEN CAVERN.
Survivor
Vestiges are located in the ASHEN CAVERN.
Assassin
Vestiges are located in the HOWLING PIT.
Dark Seeker
Vestiges are located in the DRIED UP TRENCHES.
Isis
Vestiges are located in the CATHEDRAL OF SACRED BLOOD.
Eos
Vestiges are located in the PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT CENTER. Some Vestiges are given by defeating the story bosses.
Fionn
Vestiges are located in the RIDGE of FROZEN SOULS.
Scathach
Vestiges are located in the CITY of FALLING FLAME.
Harmonia
Vestiges are located in the CROWN of SAND.
Hephaestus
Vestiges are located in the CRYPT SPIRE.
Warrior
Vestiges are located in the CRYPT SPIRE ENTRANCE. Only one Vestige for this Blood Code.
Queen’s Blood Codes
These Blood Codes are obtained after beating the four Successor Bosses. In order to obtain these Blood Codes, players must not obtain a Blood Code before it. Think of it as a bad ending where you didn’t fail to get another Blood Code. So if you want Queen Blood Codes, you need to not get the other one.
Queen’s Rib Cage
Obtained from beating the Succesor of the Rib Cage, which is the boss of the Cathedral of Sacred Blood. If you completed the ISIS Blood Code, then you cannot obtain the Queen’s Rib Cage.
Queen’s Breath
After beating the Successor of the Breath boss in the Ridge of Frozen Souls, you’ll get this Blood Code. If you do complete and obtain the FIONN Blood Code, then you can’t get this one.
Queen’s Claw
Obtained from the Successor of the Claw boss located in the City of Falling Flames. If you obtained the SCATHACH BloodCode, you cannot get this one.
Queen’s Throat
Defeat the Successor of the Throat boss in the Crown of Sand. If you obtained the HARMONIA Blood Code, then you can’t get the Queen’s Throat.
