The Reviews

Steam Reviews
A couple of mixed reviews from Steam

Like any of these games, reviews are mixed; however, it leans more on the positive side. Denuvo was already an issue as we STATED HERE. Ignore the fact that the game has Denuvo; people are having fun with the game. The game does look impressive, but some feel that the performance option on consoles needs a little help.

Some of the negative reviews sound more like personal preference. There are those who say that the game is just boring or that the world itself is empty. It is an open-world game, so there should be a couple of things that players can do.

We are not here to review the game, but more or less just to give an idea of what people are saying. In this case, it seems the positives are more than the negatives. Whether the game is up to par or fills your needs is definitely up in the air.

Do Reviews Matter with Crimson Desert?

One of the main things people are arguing right now about Crimson Desert is the reviews. Some people say that the reviews mean nothing. A lot of the people who are saying that the game is bad are being bombarded with Steam charts and player numbers.

The argument is that if the game is bad for some people, then why are the player numbers so high? If it’s a bad game, then people wouldn’t be playing it. Stuff like that makes people think about whether they want to play with the game or not. To some, reviews matter because they’re planning on buying a game that might be worth a lot of money.

To some, they have this excuse saying, “Just buy the game if you really want it, no point in looking at reviews”. Both sides are arguing, and those who are just interested in buying the game are stuck in the middle. Do your research and even look at YouTube videos to see if you have any interest in the game’s content.

Recent Toxic Work Allegations

There have since been some allegations that the workers for Crimson  Desert were under a lot of stress and pressure. It’s the usual stuff, like a toxic work environment and tight schedules for deadlines. We can’t verify this one, so believe what you want. However, this isn’t anything new, as a lot of big companies tend to put this on their workers. It is a sad state, but some workers just have to deal with the punches. After all, no one wants to lose their job. Since the game has gotten some financial success, hopefully no one will lose their jobs, hopefully.
