We have previously made a guide for where you can farm Metal Simes on Dragon Quest 1 HD-2D Remake, posted here. Now, we’re going to make a guide for where you can find the Metal Slimes in Draon Quest 2 HD-2D Remake, because you just want to level up so much faster.
Get Some Preparations Done
While this isn’t required, you can always prepare ahead. For starters, having the WHISTLE item can be a blessing when you want those Metal Slimes to appear as much as they can. Arm yourselves with weapons like the Boomerang or a Whip. Use any offensive move that allows you to go first to make things so much easier.
Metal Slime Locations
Damdara
In the overworld map of Damdara, you can encounter up to 8 of these if you’re lucky. Use the Whistle for this one, and you’ll be fine. Preferably, you should be LV 21 or more for this area.
Dirkandor
Ideally, you should be around level 27 here because the other enemies can hurt you. They are scattered over the Dirkandor area.
Liquid Metal Slime Locations
This is just a bonus, because Liquid Metal Slimes are stronger variations of the Metal Slime. Naturally, you can fight them later on, and they give much more EXP. The best place to farm them is from Slime Island, which is located near the Moonbrooke. They’re also not as tough, but these things will also run away. Just be around level 40 and up when you do fight them. They are also located in the PASSAGE OF RENDARAK and CITADEL TOWER, both in the L5 location.
