We can’t stop giving praises to Resident Evil 9. Having over 6 million copies sold, it is still climbing to more content on the way. That being said, the director of the game, Koshi Nakanishi, has a lot of good things to say. He thanked the fans for buying the game and promised bug fixes, which they already did, and more. Future Plans for Story Content
In the video, he says that there will be more content to be added in the future. The big one is more story content to either continue or predate the events of the game. In the video, he says the team has already started on production, but doesn’t say anything about it.
It could be a continuation because of the SPOILER ALERT, Chris did send a message to Leon at the end of the game. On top of that, we see Umbrella soldiers seemingly just killing off BSAA agents and saying, “before they send in the wolves”. That line implies that Chris and his team are coming, so that’s a possible story content for the game.
It could also be a prequel leading up to the events of Resident Evil 9. While we’re at it, it could be events that are taking place at the same time as the game. We get to see other people’s perspectives, like Chris’s. Think about Resident Evil 4’s added content, SEPARATE WAYS. We got to see what Ada was doing. We’ll just have to wait and see what the story content will be.
Mini Games and Photo Mode
Photo mode is something that they are working on. While it’s not that big of a deal for some people, photo mode can help catch those memorable moments. If not, then a few good laughs through stolen shots might be the best way to go about it.
Mini games are also being worked on. A couple of interesting photos below show that there is something that they are cooking up. Most of these are probably troll pictures, but you gotta give it to the director, he has a sense of humor.
Who is Leon Married to?
Finally, we’re tackling this funny little argument that has been circulating around the internet. Leon has a wedding ring on his finger, so people are wondering who he is married to. Speculations are the usual suspects. They could either be Ada Wong or Claire Redfield. In the image below, which was probably meant to be a joke, the director showed a picture of Forbidden Requiem with Leon hugging a woman with dark hair.
Ada and Claire fit the bill, but this is probably just for fun. Other alarming choices are Ashley or Sherry, but both of them are blonde, and people aren’t too fond of the Sherry pairing. Maybe we’ll find out more when the added story comes out, or not.
