It’s September, and it’s a new season of Quartero’s Curios for DOTA 2. It’s already been a year since the first one came out, and four past seasons have passed. So now, we’ll take a look at the rewards for this new Quartero’s. This Quartero’s will run from September 9 until December 4, 2026. We’ll also give you a little refresher course on how to get them and what to do in this event.
The Story?
Believe it or not, there is a story in this that has been progressing since the first season. Quartero is back with his sister, along with the other characters from the past. New characters are also introduced, so get to know them, or not.
How to Progress
All you have to do is play the game. Whether you’re playing Ranked, Normal, or Turbo matches, you’ll get points to increase your level (image below). Even if you lose, you get points, so you don’t need to rush it. Just play games normally and don’t stress yourself. Plus, you can access older seasons if you miss out on items, but they can be costly with the Shards.
What Rewards You Can Get
We’ll present some of the things you can get as your levels increase. A lot of them are good, and free stuff is always great. Just keep in mind some of them are only available during the event.
Sets for 3 Heroes
For this season, we have Clockwork, Windranger, and Treant Protector. The Treant is the one that has a Tier 2 variation, and it looks cool with the burning effects.
Event Effects
You get different seasonal effects for certain items and animations in the game depending on the level of your account. These effects can be for some of the in-game items or just animations when your character is doing something.

Antiques
This is something that a lot of people love: free sets. Upon reaching certain levels, you get to choose a set or a single item (can be an Immortal or Arcana). There are five of them that you need to choose from, and the game tells you if you already have that set or item. When that happens, you have the choice to choose Shards. Keep in mind, these items are not tradeable and can’t be sent as gifts.
However, if you do have an existing copy of that item and it’s worth something, why not sell it? Basically, get the item from the Antiques and sell or trade the one that you have that can be traded. This is a good idea when the item, like an Arcana, is so expensive.
Final Remarks
This is always a fun event to do. Just play DOTA, win or lose, and you can get some items. Hopefully, this event keeps going on for the years to come. However, some people still want that elusive Battle Pass or Compendium to come back.
