GTA 6 and Netflix’s Extended Gameplay Trailer Features

The past few weeks have been GTA 6 Leaks Here and GTA 6 Spoilers There. Forget about all those leaks and rumors because Netflix just dropped the bomb. Announced a few weeks ago, Netflix was going to release a trailer that featured an extended look at the story and gameplay. We’re talking about over 26 minutes of GTA 6 goodness. While we can’t post the actual video, you need to take a look at it on Netflix. You could also find some reuploads on other sites, but for now, we’re going to take a look at some of the interesting parts of the trailer. Note: a lot of these may change or are not final upon the game’s release.

Graphical Greatness

Graphics

While previous trailers already showed how good the game’s graphics are, this trailer just showed a lot more, from good-looking character models to the background scenery. They stated that this was recorded off a base PS5. So you can imagine how much better it can look on the PS5 Pro, or eventually PC.

Gun Violence at its Best

Gun Shooting

The game’s general movement and gun combat are, as always, in third-person. That has been the cream of the crop of the older games when it comes to the combat. We have an assorted array of weapons, although we haven’t seen one with melee weapons. There are shots with fist fights as we see Lucia knocking hands with other characters.

Shooting Inside a Car

Guns on Cars

This one isn’t new, as GTA 5 had this, but it’s nice to see that car combat is coming back. You have scenes in the trailer where the characters are riding inside a car, and they are shooting enemies outside. It’s fast-paced combat with elements of suspense and fun on the side.

Character Switching

Character Switching

You can switch characters at certain points. We’re not sure if you can do it anytime or all the time, but it seems you can change who you play. That was also in GTA 5, and it’s fun because you could be bored playing one character and you can just switch to the other one when you feel like it.

Your Own Place

Your Own Place

In the trailer, we see the characters hanging out at their house or apartment. You can open the fridge and get some drinks and even view what’s going on on the TV with some cringe ads and shows. Maybe you can spice up this place later on with your own designs and appliances. When they exit the building, there is a parking lot, potentially a place where you can park your acquired cars.

Other Features Worth Noting

Side Content

There is an honor system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2 (since Rockstar made the game). Think of it as a dark side and light side thing depending on your actions in the game. You don’t even need to be in love or increase your affections with your partner in the game. Stealing cars, yes, that’s still a thing, and they show that in the video. Don’t forget about the wanted ratings and AI NPCs getting better. Don’t forget about side content outside shooting guns and doing the story. They actually fight back and give you a hard time, rather than just accepting the fact that you’re going to rob them. All of these things are interesting, so we can’t wait for the game to come out.
