There have been rumors floating around that Marvel is releasing a gacha-style system using Marvel heroes or characters. However, there is another rumor of what the gameplay might actually be.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Heroes inspiration
While the Genshin style seems plausible, there’s another rumor in this where the gameplay might be inspired by two older games. These would be the Marvel Ultimate Alliance games and Marvel Heroes. These games utilized a style similar to the Diablo games. You control your characters in an isometric view and dispatch action moves and abilities. Enemies will be flooding the screen, and you have to get rid of them. This could be the other gameplay mechanic that they’ll use.
The gacha mechanics
We have nothing right now on what the gacha system is all about; however, if we look back at the Marvel Heroes character pool, there were a lot. That alone can make it a gacha haven for Marvel if they ever decide to make this game happen. You pull for characters, and you make a team of four.
