GTA 6 is one of the most anticipated games that has yet to be released. This franchise has made a killing with GTA 5 alone. One of the people behind this blockbuster franchise is named Leslie Benzies. He’s been someone who has been working on video games since the 90s. He managed to produce every GTA game from GTA 3 until GTA 5, and he was eventually released from the company. He eventually became a part of the people behind MindsEye.
What is MindsEye?

MindsEye is a third-person action game where you take control of Jacob Diaz. To summarize, it’s your typical action shooter driven by missions. The game itself looked fine in terms of graphics, and the story seems to be just somewhere in the middle. It’s everything you would expect from a third-person shooter, where you’re given things to do.
Why did it fail?
A lot of things led to its failure. For one, Leslie seemed to have a bone to pick with Rockstar, so he constantly brought up that he was a producer of those games. It didn’t help when MindsEye was released that Leslie said that there was a smear campaign against him by Rockstar, instead of just accepting the failure of the game.
Forget about the drama; the game itself was just problematic. First of all, the game launched as a buggy mess. A lot of the usual glitch-related problems were there, so a lot of buyers didn’t want to fall victim to them until those bugs were fixed.

Another reason is that if you read most people’s reviews, it’s just a generic overbudget action shooter game. We can’t say much about that, since everyone has their preferences, but the bugs and glitches are surely a turn-off. The game sits right now at mixed reviews, and it’s trying to make a comeback.
It’s unfortunate that, since MindsEye failed financially, several people got laid off. It seems the company is moving on to another game. MindsEye is still available for sale (why would they take it down), so at the very least, it may make some money in the years to come. A sad end to a game that had some questionable potential and got muddled with controversy.
