Neverness to Everness has only been out for over a month, and now they are at their version 1.1 (1.2 recently updated). NTE is one of the many gacha games that have been receiving hype in the past year, since the game was in close beta. Let’s dive right into why you would want to play this game.
A distinct story presentation

NTE has the usual gacha story style of progression. In this game, the story is displayed in episodes, like how you would watch an anime series. The two main ones are the Main Quests and Spinoffs. The main quests are those stories you need to complete to further the game’s progression. Spinoffs are quests that are tied to the main story, but you don’t need to do them if you don’t want to; they do add some flair to the overall arc.
An open city

This style is famously used by the Grand Theft Auto series. You get to explore a giant city on the game’s open-world map. The area isn’t as big as other gacha games, but the city for now is large enough to do a lot of things. The city itself is impressive, and it feels alive with different locations and areas to explore. A lot of these areas have quests and enemies that are not listed in the game guide.
Interesting Gacha pull system

This game still has a pity system. However, the gacha pull mechanic or animation is a bit unique. When you do a pull, a die will roll. Depending on what the roll is, you can land on your pulls. These can range from the Arcs or characters that are currently in the event or standard banner. It’s the presentation that makes it different, because it’s like you’re playing a board game, or you can just skip it if you want.
Mini games galore
If you’re not doing side quests or if there’s no new main story to play, there are a ton of mini-games to play. These are called the Hethereau Hobbies, which are available any time.

Races
Take your car to the races, and you’ll be having a lot of fun, if you win that is.

Sea Angler
What game would it be if it didn’t have any fishing? Be the best angler that you can be in this game.

Swift Travel
If you played the game Crazy Taxi, it’s just like that. Instead, you’re something like an Uber driver, where you pick up passengers and take them to their destination of choice.

Pink Paws Bank Heist
This is the most popular one out of the mini games, since it can reward players millions of Fons (Money) per week. It’s something like a dungeon crawler where players enter the bank and get as much money or items as possible that can be converted into as much money as possible. They can decide to risk it all by going deeper or exit early and take what they can.

The game is fairly new, and it’s free. You still have time to catch up, and if it isn’t to your liking, you can always just uninstall it. Even if you don’t spend any money on the game, you’ll be fine with the characters that you pull.
