Nintendo Direct June 2026 Wrap Up

We covered Sony’s State of Play, Xbox’s Showcase, Summer Games Fest, and Future Games Show. Now, Nintendo won’t be one to be left in the cold. They had just finished their Direct for this month, and we’re here to wrap up the games that caught our eyes from the Nintendo Direct for June of 2026.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

We’ll start with the big one (at least for some), and that is a remake of the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. We don’t see much of the gameplay as it is only a short clip. However, for us who have played the game, we already know the story. We’re just waiting for more clips about the gameplay and maybe tweaks to the tale.

Pokemon Pokopia Updates and Expansions

Everybody loved Pokopia, so Nintendo is giving out a free update. The update that allows you to dive underwater. You can build your biomes underwater and do everything you can do on land. There is also the paid expansion where you unlock a new area underwater called Bubbly Basin. More paid DLCs will be released later this year and by 2027.

Starfox Demo

The Starfox Remake was already announced a couple of months ago, so now you can enjoy and try the demo. The demo was released at the end of the direct, and the game will launch on June 25. So, what are you waiting for? Download and test the demo now to see if you’ll like it and get the game when it launches.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort

Don’t underestimate these Nintendo sports games; Wii Sports became a colossal name. This time, you get to enjoy 12 sports (for now) at a fancy resort. You can rely on the Switch’s motion controls and have a blast. Have a blast with your family and friends to reignite those old Wii Sports nights of fun and maybe a little teasing.

Kingdom Hearts 4

The first big title outside of being a Nintendo exclusive is Kingdom Hearts 4. We haven’t heard anything about this game in the past 4 years, and this trailer just ramped up the hype meter. We see more combat and gameplay set in a modern city. However, just like classic Kingdom Hearts, we don’t know what’s going on with the story as such. That’s a small taste of what’s to come, and hopefully we don’t need to wait 4 more years for it.

Final Fantasy Resonance

This game is a remake of a gacha game called Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. It seems that they have completely overhauled the game, making it an HD-2D remake with games like Octopath Traveler. The story seems to be the same, at least in the first parts of the game. The gacha aspect is also removed, so it’s a standalone, independent game. Fans of FFBE will definitely check this one, and they can experience the magic again.

Xenoblade Genesis

Finally, we’re closing this wrap-up with a new game from the Xenoblade franchise. Genesis seems to continue the story after the last game. We don’t really know much, and even hardcore fans are intrigued as to where the series is going. It does have everything that the series is known for, and we’ll have to wait for more updates.
