Dragon’s Dogma 2 just had its second anniversary. While there aren’t any giveaways to the players, a lot of people noticed something from their announcement. While none of this is confirmed, players and some people noticed some clues that could lead to a DLC or future content.

A DLC could be awesome.
Despite Dragon’s Dogma 2 having some criticisms upon release, the game is solid. It’s fun and good overall. A lot of people want it to have a DARK ARISEN type of release. People want a possible DLC for more story content, and there can be grounds for it.
What are the clues that made people think of a DLC?
A lot of the clues come from the image (below) based on the message posted on Dragon Dogma’s X account. A lot of the information and images come from REDDIT, so we’ll dive right into these tidbits of information.

The Letter and Griffin Sightings
In the game, the Northern Region has been mentioned several times. However, we never really get to explore it. We don’t even know what it looks like. It’s one of those locations that are mentioned through dialogue. This could be a sign that the Northern Region is a potential DLC location.
The letter translates to Griffin sightings in the Northern Region. We don’t know yet what those Griffins have to do, but they could be allies or enemies if this DLC ends up being true. Finally, the language or text used in the letter is Gransys, which is an area from the first game.

A New Character?
We have a character here who is not in the game. Don’t we know who he? Or she is? Because their back is turned against us. This may be a character that will pop up if the DLC is true.

What Problems Did Dragon’s Dogma 2 Face?
Upon release day, there were some issues with the game. The usual ones, like performance issues, since this game was somewhat graphically demanding. There were also the bugs and graphical glitches. The biggest ones were the predatory microtransactions.
You had transactions where you had to pay for customization or pay for fast travel. Regardless, these things did harm the game, but not to that extent. It also helped that the developers fixed the game’s problems some time later.
What if there is no DLC?
If there’s no DLC, then we just have to accept it and move on. After all, nothing about this is confirmed anyway. It’s just fun to speculate since the game has been out for over two years now. If Cap Com isn’t making a DLC, then they’re better off making the next Dragon’s Dogma game. This is one of those franchises that flies under the radar. If it isn’t good, it gets blasted with some bad business practices.
