Slay the Spire 2 was just released, and it has enjoyed enormous success. While it is only available for PC systems right now, for the price of $24.99 (may vary in locations), you get a very nice game. It is a direct sequel to Slay the Spire (2019), and the gameplay is the same with some slight improvements. Why re-invent the wheel when the first game was so successful?
The game’s Steam numbers and player count are impressive so far. While this is not a triple A game, you don’t need some high-end graphics and top-quality production to pump out some good games. Slay the Spire 2 is tagged as a strategy, turn-based, roguelike, and co-op game. You can play solo, but it’s fun to play with other people.

Rougelikes usually have that stigma around them where some people look at it as a lazily made game. Even if it is lazy, if the end product is good, then that’s all that really matters. Taking a look at the Steam charts below, the game has some impressive numbers and not just in the field of Rougelike but in newly released games in general.
There’s a possibility that those numbers may go down, but keep in mind that this isn’t a live service game. The game has already sold good numbers, and it can only go up. Will you be trying out this game? Maybe roguelike games aren’t your thing. There isn’t a demo for this, so it’s best to look at videos to get your juices flowing.
