Megaman X6, like X5, also brought to the series two different armors for players to collect. We have the Blade Armor and the Shadow Armor. It’s very tricky to get these pieces, but this guide is here to help you find all 8 parts for two armor sets.
Blade Armor
An armor that specializes in close-range combat. It used the Z-Saber as its primary weapon and is also mobile. Its Ultimate attack allows it to unleash two energy slashes moving forward. It also has the Mach Dash, where you can dash vertically or horizontally with speed.
Head Part
This part is located in Ground Scaravich’s stage. The best way to describe this is that it is random, because when you enter those totem poles, they will teleport you to random areas. You just have to keep retrying until it sends you to where the armor is. The beauty is that the head part is right there after you enter.

Chest Part
Located in Shield Shelldon’s stage. In the image below, when you reach that part in the second location, jump left. Don’t worry, there are invisible platforms that you can step on. Keep heading left, and you’ll get the Chest Part.

Buster Part
This one is easy to find. After you teleport to the second location in Infinity Mijinion’s stage, all you need to do is head left. That’s where the part is, and it’s that easy.

Leg Part
This one is so easy, it is located to the right in the image below. This is from Commander Yammark’s stage, and you don’t have to do anything wild.

Shadow Armor
This armor looks like ninja gear, and it functions the same. While speed isn’t its forte, it is able to stick to walls and not receive damage from spikes. You can even stick to the ceiling and shoot shurikens. Its Ultimate attack is to be surrounded by energy crescent blades.
Head Part
Located in Metal Shark Player’s stage, and this one is hard to get. You need to Blade Armor first so that you can Mach Dash to the left side of the stage. Upon reaching the bottom, you need to perform a Mach Dash to the right, where the armor is. This is a hard part to get because the ceiling will crush you. You need to get the necessary speed boosts for this.

Chest Part
After the final acid rain in Rainy Turtloid’s stage, you will see the spiked space (image below). You just need to use the Mach Dash from the Blade Armor to go through this tight space. The spikes will kill you instantly, so be sure to make your dashes count and enter where the armor is.

Buster Part
Obtained in Blaze Heatnix’s stage, and this one is very easy. In the part where you climb vertically, you can see a lot of Hunters that you can save. Continue going up, and you’ll find the Buster part with ease.

Leg Part
In the image below, you can get the armor part above. You can do this using Zero by double jumping, or just use the Blade Armor’s Mach Dash. The part will be right there, and a Hunter you can save. This all takes place in Blizzard Wolfang’s stage.
